Holidays can be thirsty work. Thankfully, our beachside strip is jam packed with plenty of places to help you wet your whistle.

Whether you’re going for a quick post-dinner cocktail or leisurely mimosa, here is a line-up of Hastings Street bars that are so good, even the locals go there.

Miss Moneypenny’s

A staple of Hastings Street nightlife, Miss Moneypenny’s lures you in with its Mediterranean-inspired late-night menu, and tempts you to stay with its signature cocktail list, with spritzers, sours, and of course, “The 80’s Cruise Ship Drinks.” Learn how to make them yourself with a private mixology course from their all-star bartending team.

Locale Noosa

True to its name, this bar zeroes in on a regionally-inspired menu of bites and cocktails, except the Locale, in this case, isn’t Noosa, but the Amalfi Coast. Transport yourself from one gorgeous waterfront to another, with these Italian signatures like the meringue-in-a-glass Amalfitano cocktail or the citrus-forward La Signorina.

Boardwalk Bistro

If you like your bars on the water, and your drinks on the rocks, this is the spot for you. Boasting a serious collection of hand picked artisan gins, Boardwalk Bistro is great for a long boozy lunch, or for wetting your whistle before hitting the town for the long haul.

Moonstruck Noosa

Keen for a bite with your holiday tipple? Cosy up in Moonstruck Noosa for a late night of conversation and cocktails. Besides specially paired gin and tonics, signature cocktails, and classic cocktails with a spin, Moonstruck also serves up a range of cheese and charcuterie share platters that will not let you down.

Café Le Monde

Café Le Monde is a popular all-day choice, whether you’re looking for a breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or late-night drink. With live music on Thursdays and DJs on Saturdays after dinner, this spot is also a winner for those looking for some nightlife fun.

Bistro C

Bistro C is a great spot for holiday-goers—in part because it’s where locals go to feel like they’re on holiday. Swing by to sip on best-in-class cocktails with your friends, and make some new ones while you’re there.

Noosa Heads Surf Club

With uninterrupted views over Noosa Main Beach and over 30 beers on tap, it's hard to go past the Noosa Heads Surf Club for a holiday cheers. Perfectly situated between the shopping action of Hastings Street, and the surf action of First Point, this spot is perfect for a lazy afternoon drink.

El Capitano

A hidden gem that's filled with locals in the know, El Capitano is the place to go with a group of friends keen to unwind over a few drinks and pizza to share. Their extensive drinks list features natural, organic and skin contact wines (with minimal intervention), craft beers, bespoke spirits and an original cocktail list with all tinctures made in house to create a truly one of a kind “El Capitano” experience.

Noosa Beach House

The bar that stems off Peter Kuruvita's Noosa Beach House is a must visit. With wine, beer, cocktails and one of Noosa's most extensive beverage menus, it’s easy to spend the whole afternoon here sitting alfresco and people watching.
